Students will be trained effectively on basics of FEM. The three major area of FEM Pre-processing, Solving and Post-processing will be the main focus of this training. Finite element model building via CAE software plays a vital role in fetching analysis result close to real time solution. Modeling of 2d/3d CAD model into meshed Finite element model, the techniques of 1d, 2d and 3d meshing of geometry entities to Fe entities will be thought effectively. Linear static analysis and Modal dynamic analysis will be covered as a part of training syllabus.
Pre-requisite: Basic knowledge in engineering subjects like Strength of Material, Fluid Dynamics and Theory of Machines is required to start this course.
Project works will be undertaken and placement assistance provided for trained candidates.
